How to Start a New Butterfly Count

Bob Ross – place holder. That’s a son of a gun of a cloud. Let’s do that again. Clouds are free. They just float around the sky all day and have fun. Little trees and bushes grow however makes them happy. We must be quiet, soft and gentle. The man who does the best job is the one who is happy at his job.

In your world you have total and absolute power. Use absolutely no pressure. Just like an angel’s wing. Now we’ll take the almighty fan brush. Look at them little rascals. Everyone wants to enjoy the good parts – but you have to build the framework first.

I’m gonna start with a little Alizarin crimson and a touch of Prussian blue This is the time to get out all your flustrations, much better than kicking the dog around the house or taking it out on your spouse. We start with a vision in our heart, and we put it on canvas. Let’s just drop a little Evergreen right here. There isn’t a rule. You just practice and find out which way works best for you. Making all those little fluffies that live in the clouds. Absolutely no pressure. You are just a whisper floating across a mountain.

Let’s make a nice big leafy tree. We wash our brush with odorless thinner. Very easy to work these to death. Have fun with it. Imagination is the key to painting.
